Mount (All Blinds)


Mount of the blinds should either be inside or outside mount. Inside mount blinds mount inside the window frame so they are mounted inside the window recess and should be mounted to the front of the window flush with the wall. Remember, with an inside mount blind, the width measurement is critical. We will cut down your blind for clearance (approximately ½") but give us accurate window measurements, NOT measurements taken from old blinds. Outside mount blinds mount outside the window frame so they are mounted on the wall and should be larger than the window itself. Typically you want to add 3" to each side of the window for a total of 6" in width and 6" in height. Please read our measuring instructions page to take accurate measurements. Your blinds are custom made to your dimensions and are not returnable once the blinds are made to your request.
